PALMER — Alaska State Troopers report on that two of the three deaths on January 28 deaths at a residence on Cottrell Campus Drive are being ruled homicides. Troopers conducting a welfare check on the Brown residence found the bodies of 42-year-old Jeffery Brown, 70-year-old Karen Brown and 71-year-old Gerald Brown at 9:00 p.m. on January 28. The Trooper dispatch lists the Monday determination of homicides in the death of Gerald and Karen Brown as they had been shot but have yet the State Medical Examiner has yet to identify a cause or manner of death for Jeffery Brown. Troopers believe that no other people are involved in this incident and investigation is ongoing.
