Troopers seek help locating reckless driver

WASILLA — Alaska State Troopers are looking for a woman who ran from them Saturday evening when they tried to pull her over.

According to a trooper press statement, troopers tried to pull over Cassandra P. Sullivan, 26, of Wasilla, as she drove a teal 1969 Ford F-150 on Wasilla-Fishhook Road around 8 p.m., Saturday near Lakeview Drive for speeding and driving in the wrong lane.

“The F150 took off at a high rate of speed passing multiple vehicles in a no passing zone while traveling northbound,” troopers report. “The F150 forced multiple vehicles to take evasive action to avoid causing multiple collisions.”

Troopers eventually broke off pursuit but were then told that the pickup was suspected to have been involved in a criminal case in Wasilla. Troopers learned Sullivan’s identity from Wasilla police. They have not been able to find her.

Troopers seek the public's assistance in identifying vehicles that the F150 forced off the roadway or went head on with. Anyone who witnessed incident is asked to call the Alaska State Troopers at 745-2131 or Mat-Su Crime Stoppers at 745-3333.
