WILLOW — Alaska State Troopers (AST) are seeking the public’s help into an Oct. 6 motor hit and run, vehicle-pedestrian accident in Willow.
AST reports troopers, along with Mat-Su EMS and Willow Rescue were called to Long Lake Drive near Sides Drive around 1:15 a.m. They found 27-year old Antoinette Holliday had been struck on the shoulder of the road while standing next to her vehicle. Troopers report Holliday was assisting a disabled motorist when a vehicle approached at a high rate of speed and struck her. The suspect vehicle then struck the disabled vehicle before continuing on without stopping.
Holliday suffered moderate injuries to her lower extremities and was transported to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center. AST said the vehicle is believed to be a small white sedan. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact AST at 352-5401.
