WASILLA — Alaska Wildlife Troopers are looking for a green-and-tan super cub with tail number N191AK.
They say the plane was last known to be in the Wasilla area and is believed to have been involved in an illegal big-game guiding operation.
“It is supposedly a really nice airplane and it has relatively unique coloring and markings. We believe that people that are around planes a lot will notice it and hopefully call it in,” trooper spokeswoman Megan Peters wrote in an e-mail.
Troopers have a warrant that allows them to seize the plane. Information leading them to it could result in a cash reward.
