WASILLA — Alaska State Troopers are searching or a missing man who was last heard from on August 4 at around 3 p.m.
Troopers say Daniel Buckwalter, 46, of Wasilla was reported missing on Aug. 12, the same day his truck was found in Meadow Lakes. Troopers are saying his disappearance is suspicious and are seeking anyone with information about his whereabouts.
“If you have any information, even if it seems trivial, it’s crucial to contact investigators,” said trooper spokeswoman Megan Peters.
Buckwalter is described at a 6-foot-1 white man, 200 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. He has a scar on his left cheek and was last seen driving a blue-and-white pickup truck with a black rear end.
Peters said she could not release any other information and that the case is under investigation. She said anyone with information can call troopers at 745-2131 or by calling anonymously to Crimestoppers at 745-3333.
CORRECTION: This story has been corrected from a previous version which misstated the dates when Buckwalter was last seen and reported missing.
