Troopers take down marijuana grow

WASILLA — Alaska state troopers say they seized 33 marijuana plants at a grow operation Tuesday.

According to an AST press statement, the grow was seized on Melanie Avenue at about 4 p.m., when troopers arrived at the end of an investigation.

Troopers say they have a suspect and have sent drug misconduct charges to the district attorney’s office for review.
