Trunk Show set for May 21

WASILLA — Meet designer, author and artist April Cornell at Mimi’s Closet Trunk Show from noon to 5 p.m., May 21 at the Meta Rose Square shopping center. Refreshments, gifts and fashion show starts at 1 p.m.

A preview night is from 7 to 9 p.m., May 20 and includes wine and light hors d’oeuvres.

Cornell is a retailer and designer of romantic bohemian apparel and linens. For 35 years her vintage and Far East-inspired prints have filled the shelves of retail destinations. With a successful wholesale business the product showcases in boutiques across the U.S. and Canada.

In addition, her online business attracts customers with a signature Cornell mood and presentation. Aside from her own limited edition product her designs adorn the catalogs, gifts and home wares of several licensed partners.
