Trusting in God’s word, for God’s word is true

Many Christians don’t realize the importance of believing God’s word in all their affairs of life.

Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Paul was inspired by the Holy Spirit to tell us this Scripture, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthenth me.” When you believe these words of God, He will strengthen you!

Then confess it, hold fast.

As we see in James 1:22, “be a doer of the word and not hearers only” Sometimes that’s what we do with the word of God, we hear it, but we do not do it or confess it.

I’ve heard some people that profess to be Christians say that the Bible is just a book.

They do not know they cannot expect to get help from God, if they are taking sides against his word.

We should treat the word of God with the same respect that we would show to

Jesus if he was here, present in the natural.

Psalms 119:130, “the substance of thy word giveth light ...”

The Bible as the living word is what many people don’t see or understand.

The Bible is not just words printed on a page, it is God speaking to us; yes, Holy Ghost inspired men of God wrote it down for us, but it is God speaking to each one of us.

The Epistles in the New Testament from Romans to Jude are the letters to the church today. Study them, memorize them, confess them as you do the

Gospels, there is life in his word.

Putting the word of God first will always keep you spiritually balanced. People who try to go out beyond God’s word will fail.

To know deep inside that the Bible is God’s word comes by believing, having faith in God’s word, doubting will only rob you. You can’t believe God’s word with doubt in your heart toward it.

There have been studies done on churchgoing young people. When they graduate from high school, a fair percentage of them don’t believe the word of God as they did, then when they graduate from college, a larger percentage of them are unbelievers or at least have many doubts. They hear unbelieving statements continually during their secular education.

I believe it just goes to show that when you don’t keep the word of God before you, your faith will fail you or at the least it will become weakened.

Always keep God’s word before you for every affair of life.

Many times people don’t understand the injustice toward God that they bring by not believing in the word of God.

We can only know God through his word. Keep it holy; reject all teachings that speak against the word of God.

God parted the Red Sea for the Israelites, believe it. As Christians we cannot take in any teachings that go against God’s word, take the word of God and prove out all teachings.

The word of God is real in its supernatural power and it will only work for those that believe.

Many people are taking up with the affairs of life, they fail to take time to see God’s word and walk it.

The natural man cannot see the truth in the word of God but the child of God should see the living truth of his word.

When the word of God gains priority in people’s hearts it has the power to transform their lives and deliver them from every bondage of the devil. Praying according to the word of God and putting first things first always produces results.

Praying for those in authority, the Bible says we will affect changes in the nations of this world

First Timothy 2:2, “... that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life...”

Romans 10:17, “So faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God.” Be consistent in your reading and studying of God’s word. Recognize your faith will grow only as you feed on God’s word.

James 1:22, “but be a doers of the word not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” The word of God is actually what it declares itself to be, God’s holy word is there for you and me, It tells of all the blessings that God has for us; His word will never come back void.
