Two dead after two-vehicle accident in Houston Tuesday

Two people are dead following an accident in the Houston area Tuesday night.

Matcom received a report of a head-on collision just after 7:30 p.m. at Mile 54 of the Parks Highway near Hawk Lane. A Honda passenger car and Dodge truck were involved in the accident, according to the Alaska State Troopers. Two occupants of the Honda were declared dead at the scene. The driver of the truck was transported to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The identities of the deceased were not initially reported. The investigation continues, according to AST.
