Two Wasilla men were critically injured Sunday after their vehicle flipped over near Pittman Road.
Adam Steigleman, 19, and Donald Ness, 23, were listed in critical condition Monday at Providence Alaska Medical Center. By Tuesday, Steigleman remained in critical condition and Ness was listed in serious condition, according to a hospital spokesperson.
The two were found lying on Beverly Loop Road off Pittman at about 4:40 a.m., according to Alaska State Trooper reports. The men appeared to have been traveling at high speed in Steigleman's 2002 Pontiac Sunfire when the driver lost control and it flipped several times.
Neither man was wearing a seat belt and both were ejected from the car, troopers said. Alcohol appeared to be a factor, according to trooper reports.
