Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

United Way of Mat-Su has organized a Community Walk to promote Living United in the Mat-Su Valley.
To be part or the Community Walk, meet at 4 p.m., Thursday at the Target parking lot. Individuals cost $10, families cost $25 and groups of five or more are $40.
The purpose of the walk is to promote healthy living by getting out and walking and doing physical activity along with promoting the United Way of Mat-Su and its vision to be a community where compassion, generosity and stewardship are intrinsic values.
There are already people attending from early childhood groups to high school sports teams, along with students.
