United Way says ‘Thank you Mat-Su’

To the editor:

I would like to thank the Mat-Su Valley community for its support during the United Way of Mat-Su campaign this fall. The campaign is in full swing with great leadership from Cheri LeBlanc-Shue (resource development director) and amazing support from businesses, organizations and citizens of the Valley. It never ceases to amaze me how much enthusiasm work place campaigns create and the amount of energy it puts back into the community at large.

Thank you to all the businesses and their workplace coordinators who have hosted in-house campaigns, to organizations that have allowed United Way of Mat-Su to speak, to our donors, to our volunteers, to our youth volunteers, to our board of directors and to our wonderful community.

I also would like to thank Stephanie Allen (executive director), Desiree Compton (impact director), Cheri Leblanc-Shue and Whitney Rauch (administrative assistant) for making United Way of Mat-Su an outstanding organization.
