Unresponsive ATV rider found near Sutton

SUTTON — A man found unresponsive under an ATV on the Glenn Highway was treated for serious head injuries at a local hospital.

According to a press release from Alaska State Troopers, the accident was called in at 2:09 a.m., Saturday.

“Complainants on scene advised they had located an unresponsive male pinned under a Polaris ATV in the northbound lane of the Glenn Highway,” according to an AST press statement.

The rider, Glenn Milowski, 40, of Sutton, wasn’t wearing a helmet when he crashed, troopers report. He was taken to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center.

“Milowski’s injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening at this time,” according to the press release.

Troopers say alcohol appears to have played a role in the crash.
