Family Birthing Class: Saturday, Oct. 5, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Denali Room.

Join our Labor and Delivery nurses as they take you through the end of your pregnancy, signs of labor, what to expect at the hospital, comfort measures during labor including medications, epidural and non-medication options, potential interventions, the birth process, what to expect immediately after birth, and much, much more! Family Health Fair: Saturday, Oct. 5, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the MSRMC Lobby.

Event offers free labs and flu shots if they are available. Also includes venders, prizes and giveaways and a pirate themed costume contest for all participants.

Baby Boot Camp: Tuesday, Oct. 15, 6 to 9 p.m.in the Matanuska Room.

One session helps you become more confident in taking care of and making decisions for your new baby. Dressing, diapering, bathing, medical testing during the hospital stay, and coping with crying will be covered plus much more. Register at MatSuRegional.com under the Events tab. Cost: $35.

Join Mat-Su Regional in celebration of all women who have fought or are fighting the battle against breast cancer. Event offers educational presentations on breast cancer, venders, prizes, giveaways and a cowgirl themed costume contest for all participants. Lunch is provided.
