WASILLA — A Willow man is dead following a motor vehicle accident near Willow Tuesday afternoon.
Rayn Mors, 26, died at the scene, about Mile 63 of the Parks Highway. According to an Alaska State Troopers online dispatch updated Wednesday morning, a Toyota Tundra traveling northbound crossed into the southbound lane and collided with a Toyota Corolla, driven by Mors.
Mors was one of two people in the Corolla, troopers said. A passenger, Dawn Jacobs, 47, also of Willow, sustained serious injuries during the accident and was airlifted from the scene. The Tundra had a driver and two passengers, both minors. All three were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to troopers.
The accident was reported just before noon Tuesday. The cause and circumstances related to the crash are still under investigation, troopers said.
