Updated bus routes announced

Starting Wednesday morning, Matanuska Susitna Borough School District buses will pick up and drop off Susitna River and Bradley Road students, Yoder Road students and Montana Creek students at their regularly scheduled times and places.

Buses were unable to reach those students Tuesday because of heavily flooded roads.

Grantham students, North Shushana students and King Arthur students should continue meeting buses at the alternate routes. It is important that students get to the alternate bus stop before the allotted pick-up times, as buses will leave promptly to get students to school on time.

The alternate routes are listed below:

€ Grantham Area Students: Stop will be at Hyer Road and Grantham Road

- Colony Middle and High Schools: Bus #16; pick up, 6:03 a.m.; drop off, 3:01 p.m.

- Pioneer Peak Elementary: Bus #29; pick up, 7:56 a.m.; drop off, 4:34 p.m.

€ North Shoshana Area Students: Stop will be at Schrock Road and Shoshana Road

- Wasilla High School: Bus #41; pick up, 6:24 a.m.; drop off, 2:43 p.m.

- Teeland Middle School: Bus #82; pick up, 6:46 a.m.; drop off, 2:39 p.m.

- Shaw Elementary School: Bus #85; pick up, 8:16 a.m.; drop off, 4:14 p.m.

€ King Arthur Area Students: Stop will be at King Arthur Drive and No Name Hill

- Houston Middle and High Schools: Bus #49; pick up, 6:35, a.m.; drop off, 2:28 p.m.

- Big Lake Elementary School: Bus #49; pick up, 8:23 a.m.; drop off, 4:05 p.m.
