The Upper Susitna Senior and Civic Center is once again hosting a traditional Irish corned beef and cabbage dinner with all the trimmings, just in time for the grandest of Irish holidays, St. Patrick's Day.
The third annual event is scheduled for March 13 at 7 p.m. at the center, which is located at Mile 98.5 Parks Hwy, across from Susitna Valley High School.
The event has become quite a tradition for the Upper Susitna Seniors, as the entertainment is a hit and the food is much anticipated every year.
At the event, there will be fiddling entertainment and drawings for door prizes donated by local businesses. Everyone is welcome to the fesitval of Irish food and music, organizers said.
Advance tickets may be purchased at Moore's Hardware and Building Supply in Sunshine; Talkeetna Gifts and Collectables in Talkeetna; members of the Upper Susitna Seniors; or by calling Linda Cline at 495-1014.
Tickets for the event are also available at the door, organizers said.
Tickets for the dinner and evening's worth of entertainment are $10 for adults and $6 for children ages 10 and under.
