Use your mind and grow

To the editor:

The June 1 Frontiersman (Faith) had a sermon title saying this is a “right-lane country.” So I made the mistake of reading Pastor Hamman’s sermon on driving. Yes, I was right. He got off onto people who live their lives left of center. Label people with ugly terms so you don’t have to understand them. He actually thinks left-of-center people (are) unwilling to conform to his view of an unchanging constitution and life. You’re darn tootin’ I am.

Out nation’s history shows a constant battle between left and right and never is right always right always true and left never. In high school I read an Emerson essay called “Certitude” that proved to me that if the law of nature is change, probably the law of God is also change. In other words, use your mind and grow. Conforming to a perceived majority sounds brainless.
