The Mat-Su Special Santa Program wants to thank everyone who helped bring Christmas to almost 3,000 children from 1,082 families this holiday season.
Thank you to all of the businesses, agencies, community organizations, families and individuals that donated to the program. We would especially like to thank our longtime supporters Q-99.7 radio, the Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman, Bishops Attic II, Wal-Mart, Matanuska Telephone Association, Affordable Storage, Web by LazyTea, Alaska Waste and Alaska Family Services. Thanks to Health Quest Therapy for the donation of the building.
A special thanks goes out to the Christian Motorcyclist Association, Chapter 801 Midnight Son Riders, for all of the work collecting toys at the Toys for Tots locations and coordinating parking on parent pick-up days.
We send out a huge thanks to the many volunteers who helped put packages together and assisted in the workshop. Lastly, I want to thank all of the wonderful Special Santa Elves who help all year long. Your dedication makes Christmas memories for a lifetime.
Mat-Su Valley is a community of caring and sharing. Thank you!
