Valley flag football players named all-conference

A handful of Valley players were recognized as part of the first Northern Lights Conference flag football all-conference teams.

Wasilla’s Savannah Kroon was named Co-MVP for the conference, which featured varsity flag football for the first time. Katie Jackson, Makayla Compton and Claire Bredberg were also named first-team all-conference. Tonya Karpow represented Colony-Palmer on the first team.

Wasilla’s Danielle Steiner, and Colony-Palmer’s Hayden Vanderpool and Audrie Fischer were named to the second team.
