I am writing this letter as a kind of protest. Over the years, we have found out just what a dishonest society we have, when it comes to politics. I have no faith in our judicial and political system any more.
One of the few honest representatives of our Valley has decided not to run for the legislature. Lyda Green has done a lot for us over the years, but because she doesn’t always agree with our great “Queen,” everyone gets upset. I don’t want someone representing me who only says “yes” and toadies to whatever Mrs. Palin says. Now, we will have that when her opponent gets in. Won’t it be nice, when everyone agrees with her all the time. How boring!
It is also interesting how some people keep switching from Democrat to Republican. It just shows that some people don’t know what they want. All most of us want is an honest system.
Thank you, Lyda, for all you have done for the Valley. We are a thankless group, but some of us appreciate you.
