Valley Quilters Guild is sponsoring a fundraiser to benefit the two Quilts of Valor groups

Valley Quilters Guild is sponsoring a fundraiser to benefit the two Quilts of Valor groups which serve the Mat-Su Borough. Both VQG and QoV are non-profit organizations. Quilts of Valor members make and award one-of-a-kind quilts to Veterans and Active Service Members.

The very special quilt will be auctioned off on June 14 at the Eagle Hotel during Colony Days. Leading up to the auction, this quilt will be on display at various businesses around Palmer. This unique quilt was created in 2001 by local quilters, and features 12 of Palmer’s historical buildings.
