MAT-SU — A trio of Mat-Su Valley grapplers are ranked at the top of their weight class according to the latest 4A wrestling rankings compiled by Akmat.org.
Colony’s Kyle Boss and Renn Wright are the top athletes of the 152- and 285-pound classes, respectively. Wasilla’s Jake Johnson is listed first at 215.
Colony and Wasilla are slated to compete in the Alaska State Duals Championships at Bartlett High School today and Saturday. Palmer and Houston are scheduled to participate in the Robin Hervey Invitational at Kodiak High School today and Saturday.
