The Palmer Moose scored a 12-0 boys soccer win over Redington Tuesday night at Palmer High School.
Aiden Kent led the Moose with four goals. Owen Lance and Cole Miller each scored twice. Fischer Adams, Bodie Miller and Tobin Miller also scored.
The Palmer girls played to a 4-4 with Redington. Greta Campfield, Jada Becker-Santana, Haven White and Sophie Adams scored for Palmer. Adams also had two assists.
Palmer and Redington were tied at 2 at the half. The Huskies took a 3-2 lead about two minutes into the second half and tied the score at 4 about 15 minutes into the final half.
White tied the score at 3 for Palmer, and Adams gave Palmer the 4-3 lead.
Campfield gave the Moose the early lead, scoring about five minutes into regulation. Redington quickly tied the game and took a 2-1 lead at about the 15-minute mark. Becker-Santana tied the score at 2 for the Moose.
Colony swept Eagle River in a pair of games.
Johnny Figgens notched a hat trick during a 4-0 win over the Eagle River boys. Quinn Dowd also scored. Mason Irsik and Jamon O’Bryan combined for the shutout.
The Colony girls beat the Wolves 2-0. Sammy Gerteisen and Emily Moses scored. Savannah Anderson earned the shutout.
The Wasilla boys beat Chugiak 1-0. Toben Michaud scored the lone goal.
Chugiak got past Wasilla 4-2. Alia Shane finished with a goal and an assist. Dani Steiner also scored. Ella Hale made 14 saves in the Wasilla goal.
