The Wasilla girls basketball squad cruised past a trio of Interior opponents during a long weekend of nonconference action.
Wasilla beat North Pole 65-25, West Valley 57-26 and Lathrop 72-32.
Claire Bredberg scored 13 against North Pole.
Mielee Merchant enjoyed a 21-point night against West Valley.
Kinley Lynch hit a trio of threes and scored 19 against Lathrop. Merchant had 17 and Bredberg added 16.
The Wasilla boys finished 1-1 over the weekend. The Warriors jumped to a 25-6 lead and beat North Pole 71-40. Lathrop scored a 76-39 victory over Wasilla.
Palmer split a pair of games against North Pole on Saturday.
Lukas Owen knocked down seven three-pointers to lead the Palmer boys to a 69-61 victory. Owen had a trio of threes in the second, and added two more in both the third and fourth quarters. Nolan Garner chipped in 18.
Loren Nichols scored 11 during a 51-28 loss in the girls game.
Kaelyn Downey scored a dozen to lead the Palmer girls to a 37-24 win over West Valley.
Colony split a varsity set with Lathrop on Thursday.
Morgan Ainsworth poured in 20 to lead the girls to a 60-26 win. Taylor Passard added 11.
Lathrop got past the Colony boys 52-47. Mylz Mongeau led the Knights with 14.
