Wind Whispers
Cool water rushes beneath my skin.
Moonlight shines, mirroring what’s within.
Dappled drops of dew abide.
Orbs of crystals, liquefied.
Midnight spreads its cape above.
Wonderment is what stars dream of.
And pirouetting through the air,
An icy breeze, soft and fair.
Sweeping by fresh and swift,
It hales my breath, gives a light lift.
Round river pebbles saunter around,
Their whispers of time are but a trickle in sound.
A dream is but, a wisp of dream.
Yet, we wonder what they mean.
Cool water flows beneath my skin.
Moonlight shines, mirroring where I’ve been.
