WASILLA — A pair of Valley swimmers earned state titles during the Alaska Age Group Championships 14U meet in February.
Jackson Charton, a member of the Wasilla Waves swim club, won the boys’ 10U state champion as the first-place high point winner. Karson Kolberg, of the Northern Lights Swim Club, earned the same honor in the 13U class. Charton finished with 54 total points, three ahead of the runner-up. Kolberg finished with 63, 13 points better than the second-place finisher.
