The Palmer Moose swept a pair of soccer matches against Redington Monday.
The Palmer girls edged the Huskies 3-2. Kaylee Gallego scored the eventual game-winner for Palmer. Greta Campfield and Haven White factored into the first goal for Palmer. Campfield also scored the third goal for the Moose.
Mya Campbell scored both goals for Redington.
The Palmer boys beat Redington 13-0.
Palmer also scored a win and a tie against Grace Christian Wednesday.
The Palmer boys blanked Grace 6-0. Aiden Kent and Aidan Houser scored two goals each. Elijah Von Gunten and Fischer Adams also scored. Michael Larsen earned the shutout.
The Palmer girls tied Grace 2-2. Gallego and Theresa Arreola scored for the Moose.
The Wasilla girls celebrated their senior night with a 3-0 win over Eagle River Tuesday.
Makenna Hanson led Wasilla with a goal and an assist. Alia Shane and Ki Schachle also scored. Ella Hale earned the shutout in the Wasilla net.
Colony swept Chugiak on Tuesday.
The Colony girls clinched a spot in the state tournament for the first time since 2021 with a 4-0 win over the Mustangs. Avrie Geigerich and Emily Moses finished with two goals and two assists each. Savannah Anderson earned the shutout.
The Colony boys beat Chugiak 2-0. Isaac Villa and Johnny Figgins had a goal and an assist each. Mason Irsik earned the shutout.
