Valley teams combined for a 10-0-2 record during the three-day Stars and Stripes Showdown round-robin hockey tournament at the MTA Events Center in Palmer.
Colony finished 3-0-0, outsourcing opponents 30-4. The Knights blanked Delta 20-0, and beat Juneau 6-2 and North Pole 4-2.
Aidan Finch had an 11-point day against the Huskies, with six goals and five assists. Kaden Lynch added eight points, four goals and four assists. Ethan McNulty bagged a hat trick, and Matthew Ross and Isaac McKenzie had two goals each. Logan Lofland, Luke Holman and Allan Baldwin also scored.
Lynch scored twice during the win over North Pole. McKenzie and Ross also scored. Lynch and Finch had two goals each against Juneau. Ross and McKenzie also scored.
Wasilla was also 3-0-0 in the tourney.
Grant Barksdale finished with a hat trick during a 6-5 win over Juneau and an 8-3 victory over West Valley. Jared Hacker, Branson Starheim and Michael Whaley also scored against Juneau. Starheim, Dalan Dubie, Simon Giani, Gabe Lamm and Mason Varner had goals against West Valley.
Barksdale and Easton McCree scored during a 2-0 win over Chugiak.
Host Palmer finished 2-0-1.
Elijah Von Guten and Bradford Heard scored two goals each during a 5-2 victory over North Pole. Kaleb Von Guten also scored.
Zidane Dietz had two goals in a 6-4 victory over West Valley. Clayton Conrad, Elijah Von Guten, Kaleb Von Guten and Bryce Horacek also had goals.
Ryan Martin, Elijah Von Guten and Kinan Greco scored during a 3-3 tie with Dimond.
Houston was also 2-0-1.
Bryaden Spain scored four times during a 15-0 victory over Delta. Daniel Matveev notched a hat trick, and Brody Richard scored twice. Braiden Russell, Zasim Konev, Trenton Huber, Memphis Elliott and Carter Cook also scored.
Earlier in the week, McCree scored in overtime to lift Wasilla to a 4-3 win over Colony. Lamm scored twice for the Warriors and Barksdale added a goal.
Lynch scored twice for the Knights and Lofland also had a goal against Wasilla.
