The Colony girls won the inaugural Colony Basketball Classic at Colony High School.
The Knights finished 2-1 in the round-robin tourney, beating Thunder Mountain and Grace Christian and dropping one to Grace Christian.
Hallie Clark scored 22 points to lead the Knights to a 45-33 win over Monroe. Allie Shlley added 13.
Shelley scored 18 in a 59-54 win over Thunder Mountain. Clark added 15 and Emma Hopkjins finished with 14.
Clark scored 15 in a 59-55 loss to Grace. Morgan Ainsworth finished with 14. Hopkins had eight.
Clark was named the girls MVP of the tourney.
The Colony boys finished 1-2 in the tourney, beating Thunder Mountain and falling to East Anchorage and Monroe Catholic.
Kash Luce scored 17 points to lead Colony to a 59-40 win over Thunder Mountain. Zach Daniel and Jayce Underwood added 14 each. Underwood finished with 28 points in a 59-55 loss to East, and led the Knights with 17 during a 57-45 loss to Monroe,
The Wasilla Warriors boys basketball team finished third in the Alaska Prep Shootout at Dimond High School in Anchorage.
Wasilla beat Tigikaq 77-54 in the third-place game. Arthur Adams hit eight three-pointers and led Wasilla with 24 points. Parker Kroon scored 14 and Connor Dundley added a dozen.
Host Dimond got past the Warriors 78-64 in the semifinals. Kroon led the Warriors with 25 and Adams had 21.
The Warriors opened the tourney with a 76-71 win over Chugiak. Adams hit nine threes and scored 33. Kroon had 23.
The Palmer boys and girls hosted the annual Palmer Elks Showdown over the weekend. The Palmer girls finished 2-1. Larkin Christiansen scored 11 to lead the Moose to a 37-35 win over East Anchorage. Abby Pettit added 10.
Kay Downey scored 14 in a 47-44 win over Bartlett. Christiansen hadc 10.
Christiansen led Palmer with six points during a 51-23 loss to Ketchikan.
The Palmer boys finished 0-3 in the tourney, Barrow edged the Moose 65-63. Isaac Evans scored 19. Deandre Nika added 16. Nika scored 14 in a 74-53 loss to Bartlett. Evans had 15 in a 53-42 loss to Service.
