Valley Voices ready for next stage

MAT-SU -- Valley Voices for Children, a Valley grassroots group of parents and educators that played a vital role in getting individuals to speak up for education funding during the recent state legislative session, is preparing for the next steps in getting adequate funding for the Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District.

"One person cant do everything, but every person can do something," said VVC founder Kris Moore.

VVC is pushing for full funding from the Mat-Su Borough Assembly, and will be holding rallies and meetings to teach people about education funding and what individuals can do to insure funding for next year.
