The Valley Hospital team recently won the Anchorage Adult Women's Hockey League Tier I championship. After a regular season record of 22-2-4, Valley Hospital swept through the playoffs, defeating Champion's Choice and the University of Alaska Anchorage women's hockey team. Valley Hospital then defeated UAA 2-1 in the championship game to take the league title.
Boasting an average age of 38 years old, the Valley Hospital team finished the season with seven wins and one tie against the students of UAA.
