Valley youth attending modeling convention

Two Valley children were chosen to attend the Millie Lewis American Modeling and Talent Convention, which is later this year at a hotel in Disneyworld in Florida.

Lucas and Lauren Ax, ages 10 and 11, were chosen during an audition of 450 people held at the Anchorage Downtown Marriott.

The national convention brings together modeling and talent scouts from around the world, including some of the top agencies and companies. There are usually between 50 and 100 of the top talent scouts in the country in attendance, giving participants big exposure to the scouts.

Participants try to raise donations in order to attend the convention. Lucas and Lauren Ax are trying to raise money so they can attend the conference as well.
