Vandals hit U-Haul store, glue gas caps on vechiles

WASILLA — Alaska State Troopers are looking for whoever put glue in the locks on the building and on the gas caps on the vehicles at the U-Haul store.

Troopers say the vandalism was reported at the store on Blue Lupine Drive at 3:10 p.m. on Monday. They say the damage likely occurred between 5 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. Monday.

Damage to the building and vehicles is estimated at $1,000.

Anyone with information is asked to call troopers at 745-2131 or Mat-Su Crime Stoppers at 745-3333.
