&#8220All who know Max are blessed to have gained from his wisdom and wit. Max loved to teach others and was a leader by word and example.

&#8220Max taught us the meaning of respect, honesty, frugality, forgiveness, righteous leadership and the beauty of an honest day's work. His quick wit and sense of humor brought a smile and laugh to all who met him. He loved all, but had a special place in his heart for those with less than he. He loved being surrounded by his family, who were with him as he passed from this life to the next. Max leaves a legacy of service, kindness, endurance and unconditional love.

&#8220While Max's physical presence is missed dearly, we celebrate his life and look forward to the time when we will be reunited.”
