PALMER — A horse is dead after an accident on Lazy Mountain early Monday morning.
Just after 4 a.m. Monday, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a driver versus horse collision. Christopher Perry, 21, struck a horse at the intersection of Wolverine Road and Lazy Lady Lane, according to troopers. Perry was taken to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center with injuries from the accident.
The horse was put down following the accident, troopers said. Troopers were unable to locate the owner of the horse.
