Cobb Street Market owner Andrea Fuller always enjoys herself at the Alaska State Fair.

"I'm just having fun," Fuller said.

The Cobb Street Market vendor booth is located off the Purple Trail. Fuller said that she likes her location and she has a great relationship with the surrounding vendors.

"It's been a great experience. We love our neighbors," Fuller said.

Cobb Street Market is a small business that was established in downtown Palmer. It carries a wide variety of products ranging from clothing and jewelry to spices and housewares. Fuller said one of their primary goals is to offer as many Alaska made products as possible. She said their Fair booth is a condensed version of their store and many Fairgoers enjoy their locally sourced products.

"The Alaska-made stuff is always a hit," Fuller said.

This is the third year Cobb Street Market has been a Fair vendor. Fuller said they closed their storefront during the Fair season to focus on their time on the grounds. She said the storefront will reopen Sep. 10.

Fuller noted that they're planning to close their brick and mortar establishment in the near future to focus more on being a vendor at events like the Fair. She said they also continue offering products through their website. She said that she's enjoyed running a store in Palmer over the years but she's ready to start a new chapter.

"We've had a lot of fun doing the storefront. We're ready to just scale it back a bit," Fuller said.

While this may be the last year Cobb Street Market operates from a brick and mortar, it is far from the last time people can visit them at the Fair. Fuller said they have a great relationship with the Fair staff and volunteers and eagerly anticipate all the fun memories they still have yet to make there.

"The Fair takes excellent care of us," Fuller said. "All around the Fair is a great experience as a vendor."

Fuller has been a member of the Palmer community for many years. She said that big events like Colony Days, Colony Christmas, and the Alaska State Fair bring an economic influx to Palmer.

"Anything that brings people to town, everyones gonna benefit," Fuller said.
