• Veteran’s Day Appreciation Luncheon Thursday, hosted by Rotary Club of Palmer and American Legion Post No. 15. Veterans and active military are invited to the luncheon, which is from noon to 1 p.m., at Palmer Moose Lodge No. 793, 110 S. Cobb St. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. The guest speaker is Stephen G. Sweet.

• American Legion Post 35 in Wasilla, Mile 46.5 Parks Highway, will host an open house Thursday following the Honor Ceremony at the Veterans Wall of Honor.
