To the editor:
We recently had to have our beloved dog Willow put down. We’ve had her since October of 1996.
The man who had to do the job was Dr. John Tuomi from Palmer Vet Clinic. He has to be one of the most compassionate guys around. Not only did he strive to make the old gal comfortable, he also seemed to share in our grief.
He went above and beyond the call of duty, even to the point of sticking around to help my husband lower Willow into her grave. And he did all of this while he was supposed to be off from work and expecting company at his home.
Thank you, Dr. Tuomi. You’re the best of the best.
