PALMER — Palmer took the first set, but Colony remained undefeated.
The Knights used a 3-1 (19-25, 25-18, 25-19, 25-21) over the Moose to improve to 6-0 overall and 5-0 in Northern Lights Conference play.
Isabel List led the Knights with 17 kills, 14 assists and six aces in the victory. Eve Stephens added 10 kills and seven blocks. Gabby Wakaliuk chipped in six kills. Haylee Duguid added 15 digs and three aces for the Knights.
Tuesday’s game was Colony’s first conference contest at home. The Knights started the NLC schedule 4-0 on the road. After sweeping a two-match series at Kodiak early in the month, the Knights beat Kenai and Soldotna on the road last week. The Knights beat the Kards 3-0 and Stars 3-2.
Palmer dropped to 1-2 in conference play with the loss. Kristen Beames had nine kills for the Moose. Hannah Decker added seven kills. Kelsey Giese finished with nine digs and two aces.
The Moose beat Kenai on the road last week, but fell at Soldotna.
Warriors get past Grace
Wasilla scored a 3-2 (18-25, 25-15, 25-15, 22-25, 18-16) over Grace Christian Tuesday at Wasilla High School.
Kamryn Broach led Wasilla with 10 kills and five aces. Cheyenne Green collected nine kills and 10 digs. Kaitlyn Cook added 19 assists and nine digs. Tristan Merchant 18 assists, eight digs and eight aces.
West Valley edges Colony
The West Valley Wolfpack edged Colony 3-2 (25-22, 19-25, 23-25, 25-19 15-11) in a nonconference match Thursday at Colony High School.
Gabby Wakaliuk led Colony with 17 kills, five digs and three blocks. Eve Stephens finished with 17 digs and five blocks. Isabel List had five kills, five aces, 18 assists, 11 digs and two blocks. Avery Easley collected 11 assists and six digs.
