PALMER — The Palmer Moose volleyball team swept its way through a three-day trip on the Kenai Peninsula over the weekend.
Palmer improved to 10-0 overall with the wins, and 7-0 in Northern Lights Conference play.
Kalei DePriest posted 10 kills and Macey Buresh collected 19 assists to lead Palmer to a 3-0 (25-11, 25-12, 25-11) win over Kenai last Saturday.
Palmer beat Soldotna 3-0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-14) on Friday. Mariah McNamara had 13 kills and three aces. Elliot Perkins finished and Cassidy Giese finished with 10 digs each. Buresh added 28 assists.
Brecken Riekena had 14 kills during a win over Nikiski last Thursday.
JUNEAU — The Colony Knights finished second in the Juneau Invitational Volleyball Extravaganza last Saturday in Juneau. The host Crimson Bears edged Colony 2-1 in the final to take the tourney crown on their home court. The Knights finished 10-2 in pool play. Ashley Turcotte and Mackenzie Everett were each named all-tournament for Colony.
ANCHORAGE — The Houston Hawks participated in the Lady Grizzlies Invitational at Grace Christian School in Anchorage over the weekend. Khristin Nida was named all-tournament for the Hawks.
