Volunteer of the Year nominations sought

United Way of Mat-Su is seeking nominations for its annual Dorothy A. Jones Volunteer of the Year Award. The deadline for nominations is Feb. 16. The award was established in 1992 to honor the memory of Dorothy A. Jones, a foremost community leader whose dedicated service helped to improve the quality of life for Mat-Su residents. The award winner will be named at this year’s Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon sponsored by United Way of Mat-Su March 16 at the Greater Palmer Chamber of Commerce meeting at the Moose Lodge located, 1136 South Cobb St. Palmer.
