To the editor:
Alaska Dog and Puppy Rescue sadly bids farewell to one of our own, Kari Lyndsey, who passed away recently, leaving a huge hole in volunteers’ hearts.
Kari tirelessly championed the welfare of dogs and puppies throughout Alaska. Despite enduring many health problems of her own, Kari continued to put dogs first. She served ADPR in many capacities — as a board member, a volunteer, a foster home provider and a participant for special events.
Most of all, Kari loved dogs and worked to make their lives better. ADPR and the dogs of Alaska lost a good friend and advocate. Until we meet again, Kari, over the Rainbow Bridge. We will miss you!
