Valley Mountain Bikers and Hikers would like to thank Mark Gronewald, Joe Ortner, Dave Freer, Dave Werner and Dot Helm for their efforts on the Crevasse Moraine Trail on July 13. They were revitalizing the trail and working along utility lines to prepare it for the Mooseberry Stampede Mountain Bike Race on Saturday, Aug. 9.
The Mooseberry Stampede Bike Race will be part of the Dog Dash and Trail Run sponsored by the Crevasse Moraine Trail Association to support Cure Kids Cancer and local trails. The trail crew was readying single track sections between Crevasse Moraine and Kepler Bradley for the August race (details at www.vmbah.org). We appreciate their willingness to give up a Sunday to support these causes.
