Vote for Woodruff, an ethical, fiscal conservative

Please vote for Dianne Woodruff for Mayor of Wasilla on Oct. 4 because she is by far the best candidate. She is an intelligent, experienced, hardworking and ethical fiscal conservative. She has been an accountant for 20 years, is a CPA, and has had her own accounting business in Wasilla for nine years. This experience gives her a valuable insight regarding how government and business can work together for the benefit of both.

I first met Dianne when the bulldozing started in a wooded area behind our house in Wasilla. After researching the issue, it was determined that the city was not following its own municipal code in the development of this subdivision. Dianne was one of the residents who spearheaded the effort to solve the problem for the homeowners.

Dianne subsequently served on the Borough Planning Commission, and is presently in her fourth year on the Wasilla city council. She is extremely diligent about her duties on the council and prepares extensively for each meeting. She prides herself in being available to the public and in responding to inquiries and requests. This has repeatedly been demonstrated in such issues as insisting that the city follow its own municipal code, defending local business owners from the city’s perceived threat of eminent domain and advocating for seniors.

Her community and government experience, knowledge, honesty, dedication and ethics make her by far the best candidate for the Mayor of Wasilla. Please vote for Dianne Woodruff for Mayor of Wasilla on Oct. 4.
