Mat-Su voters should take note. We have the opportunity to put an excellent, humble, hard-working and longtime businessperson on the Mat-Su Borough Assembly.
Steve Colligan is not one to overpromise and underachieve. He’ll do what he says and do it right. A fiscal conservative, in deed as well as in name, Colligan understands the role and responsibility of our local government to ensure businesses are welcome, yet also to protect our quality of life and land for future generations.
Increased private sector jobs, affordable energy and outstanding schools will be focus areas for Colligan as he helps hold the Mat-Su Borough accountable to the taxpayers. He’s donated thousands of hours volunteering in recent years to help others in the Mat-Su. It’s time residents who care about the sustainability of the Valley for our future livelihoods put Colligan on the MSB Assembly. I recommend voters mark their ballots for Steve Colligan on Oct. 4.
