VRS says thanks

To the editor,

Valley Residential Services (VRS) wishes to thank the Matanuska Electric Association (MEA) Charitable Foundation and the Mat-Su Health Foundation for the funding they have given VRS in support of their computer data storage project. MEA provided a $2,500 grant and Mat-Su Health provided a $5,500 grant toward this project. This project is the second phase of a computer upgrade designed to increase the speed, capacity and security necessary to meet future needs. The completion of this project will allow VRS staff to provide efficient, secure service to the clientele served. VRS is a not for profit housing management organization which manages 198 residential units and provides affordable housing for some 300 people in the Mat-Su Valley. Valley Residential Services truly appreciates the support that the MEA Charitable and Mat-Su Health Foundations have provided for this project.
