WACO elects new officers

Willow Area Community Organization members elected a new chairman, Charles "Chuck" Pratt, and a new secretary, Linda Conway, at their April 5 meeting in Willow. Newly elected Southwest Area representative is Valarie Schachle and the Southwest alternate is Jane Thistle. Stuart Mitchell and Madeline Gocke were re-elected the Northeast Area representative and alternate, respectively.

Former chairman Ted Smith and former secretary Kathy Huston, who have completed their terms, received thanks from the floor for the excellent work they have done during their years on the board.

The Willow Area Community Organization meets on the first Monday of each month at the Willow Community Center at 7 p.m. At the May 3 WACO meeting, there will be public discussion about the use of the land around the community center. Call 495-6633 for more information.
