Wake up Mat-Su voters

To the editor:

If you’re a surface owner, then be cautious when it comes to voting for your next mayor. When Talis Colberg was an assembly member, he voted no on the coal bed methane ordinance on Oct. 13, 2004, which protects the surface owner’s rights. Do we need another politician who is for big business and not for the people? Do we need another Lyda Green in office? Please research this for yourself. After all, you pay thousands for our land and home.
