Wal-Mart parking lot a maze

I want to know what parking lot professional designer came up with the parking lot at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Wasilla? There are two ways into the parking lot at either end of the store; however, there is only one way out. This is at the far end of the store. What was this designer thinking?

For added fun, the snow in the parking lot as been scraped to the corner, blocking several rows when you’re finding your way out. It is like a great maze now.

I was shopping at Wal-Mart today going through the snow-covered maze, finding my way to the road in front of the store. There were several cars lined up (I counted 20) to pull out on the main thoroughfare just to get out of the parking lot.

I am not a parking lot designer, but this is clearly not an easy flowing parking lot or easy to get out of.
